I was thinking that it might make the forum easier to use if you were to section off the forum a little differently. For example right now you have one section for every forum. However it may be easier to have multiple forums under each section. For example you may want to structure it like this.

Learn to play
*All The Bass Lessons!
*Learn to play
*Questions answered
Bass Chat
*General chat(but only for bass talk)
*Dman's interview with...
Music Chat
*General chat(but only for music talk)
*My Music
*Your Music
Off Topic
*General chat(for anything off topic from the above)
*Suggestions

I just think this would organize the forum a lot better.[right]

I was going to look at if that could be done the other day, but I'm only a mod & not an admin geek

I say it'd look better Smile

You'd prefer it like that?

I have a lot of experience with admining so if you want to make me an admin and then take the powers away when I'm done I'll do it for you. Smile

Agree with Snuggles, it'd look better with multiple sub-forum things in a single forum thingy... I'd do it if it were up to me:P

Wow, it looks great. Thank you so much. Smile

There's really only one thing that I can think of that would make it look better, and I know how picky this sounds, but I think it would make it look a ton better and be a lot easier to use. That would be making the 4 main forums into categories. Anyway I used to admin a site of forumotion for a friend of mine so I can give you the step by step for what to do. Smile

1. Go to the Administration Control Panel.
2. Click the General tab at the top.
3. Click the categories and forums link under the forum thing to the left.

For the next few steps just repeat them 4 times, once for each of the current main forums(Bass Chat, Learn to play, Music Chat, Off Topic).

4. Click the plus sign that makes a new forum/category.
5. In the first drop down menu switch it from forum to category.
6. Name the category after whatever forum you are on.
7. Leave everything else the same and click save.
8. Click the button to go back.
9. For each of the subforums under the main forum you are working on, click modify(I think the symbol is a gear).
10. Then click the drop down for attached to and click on the category you just made.

Once you've done that for each subforum so that everything is under categories, it will be sectioned off by category instead of forum. That way you can see all the new posts on the forum easily but it's still in a logical order and sectioned off so that it's easier to navigate. Smile

Again, if you want I'll become admin for like a few hours and do it. You've taught me how to play bass, it's the least I could do. Razz

Another idea...

Have anyone been thinking to make buttons clearer. I dont mind colours but i think specially those smaller(profile, quete, privamess, etc) buttons could be bit clearer.
Or maybe i just have bad eyes cause i cannot really make up which is which unless i really focus.

edit. i know this whole post is maybe bit off topic but dint want to start another threat.. And then another thing came to my mind. how about adding lastfm, twitter, myspace, youtube and facebook links on profile contact field. I know that there isnt maybe room for all that stuff but that was just idea.
