Just an open E or are you playing certain notes?

Well the E string is a big string so it might buzz when you slap it, all I can advise is to keep practising the slap since most problems straighten themselves out after practising it enough.

Just make sure to slap right inbetween each fret marker and just adjust if your hand position etc is giving your problems.

This could be as simple as your amp distorting. Have you tried lowering the volume settings?

It's probably just that, yes. My practice amp doesn't like my B string at all at high volumes.

Just less volume or possibly less bass should do.

Less bass is how I sort out my buzzin'. Which is unfortunate as reggae needs lots and lots of bass Razz

Another possibilty is that it's set too low or there's a problem with the bridge.
Right now, I have a very similar issue with the D string, but I happen to remember playing the heck out of it so I'm assuming that something got a little broken :S
