Tone help

im really looking for the deep "hollow" bass sound

any help is appreciated

Wouldn't high middle and treble EQ settings do the trick? Also you could try and angle your pick to give a more fuzzy sound rather than a clear note.

Now here's the thing. I can't really hear the bass that well, only at the beginning. The rest is just fuzzy. In that case, both pickups to full, you need a lot of bass and I would probably leave the mids down, while giving it a treble boost untill I'm satisfied.
If I'm not mistaken, the hollow part comes from the lack of mids, because they have a tendancy to cut through the mix.

If you are playing with your fingers you can get more "clank" out if you play around the middle (between then neck and bridge), rather than near the bridge.
Also, hit the strings, don't pluck them. Pluck them when you want a full tone.
