Cast to Wolves is my band and we finally got our demo songs ready.
This is one major reason why i have not had so much time to hang around forums or even play bass anymore so much.

So listen, comment and pass the word to anyone who could like this kinda noise.
All comments, criticism and so on are welcome.

Cheers, Masa

Now i don't listen to a lot of the death metal with the screamo vocals, but i kinda like this.
I can sort of hear the bass, but it's a bit buried in the mix, but that's what done in this kind of music I'm to understand.
Like d the feedback outro to What Ever, but two feedback intros when you've only got the 4 songs (that i know of) kind of struck me as odd.
The quality is pretty good for demo songs so the only way to improve on that would be spend a bit more time (and money) to get everything sounded great.

Side Note: Your myspace page seems kind of dead, there are no friend comments, no blog entries, you've got no genre listed (which would help people finding you and describing you).
Your friends seem to be other bands (which don't get me wrong is great) but you might need to work on getting a fanbase (just promote the hell out of the site at your gigs and on the EP/CD). Even if it involves putting your site in your sig on forums, telling your friends to go and listen and comment.

This isn't a dig at you or your band just letting you know where you can improve so you look more professional and like you're actively involved in creating music. (again i understand it's a relatively new site so you haven't really had time to do much).

Hope this didn't come across as offensive or snobby, i'm just giving feedback.

Another thing, the quality of the demos were really good, better than some i've heard for professional large bands so well done, they should sound even better when the 'actual' tracks are recorded.

Our drummer and bassist made that mix and our bassist mastered it also. Mastering was done bit hasty but it is still very satisfying for my ears. Also we wanted this raw sound. Bass is there and you can hear it pretty good. I have to disagree a bit for that intro matter. Cause for me there is 2 intros on What Ever which starts with guitar and drums and then on Betrayed which starts longer bass drum thundering and guitar comes in with feedback. On Deal With It there is feedback that was added and clicks which was left there. Dint like it but our drummer though its cool cause it kinda goes full circle from beginning to 0:35 or something and then whole song starts again. Sorry for bad explanation but from feedback to feedback.

edit... I almost forgot. We dint put any money for doing this. We borrowed micks, stands, mixer and mac-laptop for recording this. And most likely next ones will be done like this also. Recorded on our rehearse room when neighbor bands werent there. Backing vocals were yelled at our drummers apartment just cause there were other bands rehearsing and we needed to get our recordings done cause we have to retur that mac next day.

Yeah and we know this. First of all i did not even notice that genre listing so that was pretty good to point out. Even if Myspace sucks with genres to offer. Second of all we kinda new band and we havent really done nothing as for making song and rehearse so there is not really much to say. We are waiting for our first gig. Myspace was put up for sharing our songs and that is pretty much what we wanted and needed. We have been thinking for some kinda bio but again there is not really nothing to say. Also none of us has used myspace for anything else than to get to hear how bands sound like. Also we are still waiting what to do with our 4 songs. At this point Myspace is enough

I really like this, man! It's anarchic, raw and has a lot of energy.

So some updates to here too...

Our singer went to study to come a teacher and he moved like 800km away so after that we dint have singer anymore, after that our drummer quit and soon after he told that he stopped playing drums all along.
Then me and bassplayer started to looking for new drummer and found one somewhere at maybe november or so. So bassist took over singin and i had to learn also play and yell cause someone had to do backingvocals too. So here we are our first gig half year later.

Its not perfect but pretty good and it was our drummers first gig ever! bounce bounce bounce

Also we ditched our myspace site and put together our own site. Basic and simple with no useless bling!

I really hope that we get more stuff there at some point.
