My Idea for New Topic, please read

I already pm'd Dman about this (he agreed it was a good idea), but I thought it would be good to see what other users thought about it (and this way I get Lamius points too )

I have been learning bass for about a year now. Over that time, I have learned a couple of couple of riffs that sound pretty good. I wanted to share some of them on this site (they aren't awesome, but they are simple), except i couldn't find a proper place for them. So that's what I am suggesting, make a topic dedicated to lots of simple riffs. Example:

This is not exact tab for this song, it changes a bit but still, its very funky.

The link is important because, if you were just reading the tab and playing along, you wouldn't get the timing right. Whereas if you were listening to the song, it'd be much easier to hit the notes on time.

If you like this idea, please reply. Dman would consider it more if he see's pages of people saying good things about it.

Edit: Alright, topics up, its probably not in the best place but its in the 'learn to play' section. It doesn't look right surrounded by all of Dman's lessons, so He'll probably have to make a better spot with his Mod rights (Like he did with 'Jam with Dman'). Remeber, everyone's lesson is welcome, happy Teaching

As long as peeps are making up the tabs as they see the tune is, it's ok. No copying and pasting from other tab sites, coz that would get me in trouble!

I do most my forum work at the weekends, so we'll implement it then.

Yes, definately. It's a good idea to add tabs of the songs we've learned and love, but I fear that people will just copy from other tab sites

I'm making a list of songs that I could do for lessons and I'll post my next one in a week or so.
So don't worry I'm just getting about 10 or so lessons lined up so I dont have to think about what to do every 2 or so days.
