Not bad for a one-weekend home-made demo, I'd say. Especially considering we made it using a CHEAP laptop, Audacity and a pair of earbuds with a slight delay on them, meaning everything but the drums is a bit delayed and re-synced half-assedly later on.

Yeah, that was the first song we did, and our first original song. Pretty happy with it, and it doesn't sound THAT bad on my home computer speakers.

Favourite part is our insanely poetical lyrics.

Edit: I just noticed that if you turn your volume WAAAAY up at the end of Blodbad, you can hear us arguing about whether or not that drum take was good enough. Hahah.

Well I'd like to comment on the lyrics, but... Razz

I liked Blodbad and Kapital. Not so much Toffee (I'm too lazy to copy and paste the slashy o. But not too lazy to write out all of this, it seems). It sounded like what happens to those external iPod speakers when you try to push too much bass through them, but that's understandable due to the whole 'cheap laptop-weekend-demo' thing.

Yeah, that was the last song we did, and we couldn't be assed to re-do the distorting guitar track. We have NO idea why the verse vocals are distorting, it just turned out that way.
