SOTW 5: Drop D!

I thought I'd give Drop D some lovin'. For those unfamiliar with Drop D, simply tune your E string down to D. A really quick way to do it for those more sensitive to tuning is to produce the D string harmonic and tune the E string down until the harmonic is no longer wibbly.

Beginner:
Velvet Revolver - Slither

This was the first song I learned that made me feel like a badass bass god when playing it. "Bugger Claypool, I'M DOING SLITHER." Once you've got it down, perhaps you'll feel the same

It's... sort of Drop D. It's halfway between Drop D and Drop Eb. As forkv says in the playalong comments, tune to Drop D and then tune every string up a quarter step. Bit awkward.

I think I'll do the SOTWs sort of like this from now on. Not in a specific genre. Just some songs that are fun to play on the bass. Yeah.
