Hey. I've got a problem I keep coming up with these bass lines, but I not know how to develop these into a whole song. I was hoping you, would have some ideas that could help me?

I wrote my first song (keyboard) when I was eight. It had a chorus which was repeated 2 times and 1 couplet. I suggest you start from that format and then see where it goes. I even wrote the thing down! Razz

In any case, just get a structure. If I come up with a riff or chord scheme or whatever, it's usually the chorus. Then I just dick around until I find something good for the couplet and keep playing that for like three days straight, at which point the bridge and intro/outro will have practically formed themselves. Then I just keep playing and usually something else changes. It just kind of evolves, but it all starts with the riff, you have to build from there, just dicking around, seeing if you find something nice.
