problem !!!
Hey, i notice one (fixable) problem in the forum. The icons of ''New posts'' and ''No new posts [ Popular ]'' are the same, and that's a problem for me because i am in this forum when ever i have time. Then imagine me scrolling down and then ''yesss, new post, lets have a look what the fellow bass players are writhing, but nooo, there is not any new posts it's just popular'' . Some other icons are the same to. Dman, if there is any chance to change them, that would be great. I can even help you if u will send me these icons, i will give them a new and funky look and then u can upload them back to the server.

Re: problem !!!
Late answer to this, sorry...
I thought (!) I was facing this problem also. And I had a little talk to Smaz about it, too.
Actually I was trying to get deeper into this problem. What I found out so far is, that the "new"-buttons will only stay there if you are reading a thread which is longer than one page.
If the site tells you that the topic is "new" (by that button), there really seems to be something new inside. If that particular thread is viewable on one page and you return to the index (by pressing the "Index"-button on top or even simply by using your "back"-function of your browser), the "New"-Button chances to the usual one.
This does NOT work on threads longer than just one single page. You can read as much as you like and then return, but the index-site will still tell you, that there's something new in this thread.
Strange, isn't it?

Even if you read the 1-page-only-threads?
In those cases the buttons (or signs, as you like) work perfectly in my browser (mozilla firefox 3.0.10)

Yea, I have oddness here as well.
Problem is that this is one of them free forums ( I had limited time ), and I guess they are prone to a few problems. I'll have a look into it...

Re: problem !!!
I just clicked on 'mark all forum read', but still it shows unread topics. All of them are more than one page, yes. Here, I run 3.0.5, but usually I'm on 3.0.10, too.Dr.Sterni wrote:ThreeLetterSyndrom wrote:

So in short, the 'mark all forums read' button does not work properly. =)

mark all forums read button works just fine but the icon that changes when you click that button
(new post = no new post popular) that's the confusing part

Re: problem !!!
