I've just watched your topic on exercises only to find out you had C T and the problems it has caused your bass playing. I am a new member to your forum and hope you can be of assistance!!!! I am a 52 year old male with no bass playing experiance and now the proud owner of a Encore Blaster, to whitch I was told to be of adequate entry level. The problem being is that I was diagnosed with Carpel Tunnel a few months ago (something to do with working with my hands all my life) and wondered if it is still worth me trying to learn bass??? something I've always wanted to do!!!! Please help. Oh the doc gave me steroid injections in the wrist and they've helped.

I don't know...Why don't you ask your doctor about it?

Well carpal tunnel can get better so I think it would be a good idea to maybe hold off a bit til you're in a position to be able to play comfortably.

Also please try not to double post topics Wink
