Anyone can do it if they want to. Post here if you're up for it, get recording, and then send me a PM

Not sounding harsh but:
as you just got here it really wouldn't mean anything to many of us. DTL, Pip and Dman are the 3 who have done interviews mean something to the forum. you have the teacher, borderline troll and DTL who has been playing for ages compared to most of all. And everyone one this forum who is a longterm active member would know them all. because they have made a decent amount of posts.
I'm not ruleing you out of doing one. You can do one, now if you want but don't expect to get the same kind of attention that any of the above 3 have.
If I were you I would keep making posts stay here a bit longer then do the interview if your still around.
please dont take it to harshly; text can sound a lot colder in your head that the writer is actually meaning it to be.

Ok, I'll follow your advice. And it didn't come across harsh at all, so no harm lol. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Interview with... YOU!
ok good. I suppose you could record it now then upload later if you want, I mean unless your life drastically changes you are still going to be you, right?

Re: Interview with... YOU!
Thats mos def what I plan on doing. I've been doing Dman's lessons since the first day I picked up my bass guitar, so I figured I'd better get over to the forums!SuperMaximo93 wrote:Get active in the forum and we'll have your interview up in no time

Good, I like it when this place grows. More people, more knowledge. Seems logical enough.

Re: Interview with... YOU!
That's something i like about this place, we all try to bring something new to the table, we do learn off each other, but its more people with the same set of knowledge like you might expect to see.

The only new thing I've brought to the table is a hilarious anecdote about that idiot who mistook a rattling tuning post for a broken truss rod...

Thats exactly what I need at this point! I don't know if anyone else ever reached this point, but it kinda feels like I know enough about my bass but I don't. I dunno, it's a weird feeling.

I gave up thinking like I know enough. It's amazing the things you can learn in a day.

Re: Interview with... YOU!
Basically, record yourself answering these questions:
How long have you been playing? When did you start?
What are/were your inspirations?
What are your main playing styles?
What techniques are you currently working on?
Have you ever practiced with a band? Explain
Do you currently practice with a band?
What do you do other than playing bass?
Did you think you would be better by now?
Any final words of wisdom?
Add funny voices, sound effects, etc, as you see fit. Then upload it to the internet then PM/email me the link. Then I'll put the file on a new webhost and I'll post the topic... Simple!

Re: Interview with... YOU!
well, I can see one problem here, I don't have a mic or any other way of recording things , that and the fact that my life is dull as hell
lololiet- A resident.
Re: Interview with... YOU!
so what do I need to do now, just write somepin about myself or are people gonna ask questions or something along those lines?
lololiet- A resident.
Re: Interview with... YOU!
Answer the questions above in this manner:
How long have you been playing? When did you start?
Blahblahblah
What are/were your inspirations?
Blahblahblah
What are your main playing styles?
Blahblahblah
Etc.
in a PM to me and I'll sort the rest out
