Everyone I asked said it was a good starter bass. But my first choice would be a red Rickenbacker that I saw in some youtube video. I'm certain that it's either discontinued or doesn't come in a left handed version though (it's very depressing), hahah.

Hey Guys!

Sean here, 28years old/young depends on how you look at it =P, been playing bass now for about 9-10 years, but have taken long breaks from playing in bands or even at all during that period so im by no means an expert at what i do, and as everyone knows theres always more to learn.

A bit about me!
I started out as a skate punk vocalist/bassist years ago and loved it, but then took a break and did my own thing for a while, more recently been working on slightly heavier stuff and focusing alot more on my bass work however i do alot of scream vocals, but i can also add harmonies to melodic segments just as easily, im a gamer <3 my RPG's, and im generally nice to folks all the time and try to be as helpful as possible.

My current setup is as follows,
Traben Phoenix 4 - Blood Red, effects are a Big Muff, a Boss overdrive pedal and i have the Boss synth pedal for funky sounds ill never ever use.

My current wishlist would contain,
A new amp, so many to choose from and dependant on the style i was playing at the time.
The Ashdown Sub-Harmonic stomp box, my god it makes slides sound awesome.

Was introduced to the forum by a fellow bassist and i figured i could probably learn some stuff while passing on what i know myself to others, also im sure i have many bad habits as im completely self taught and have never read a thing so i might even lose a few of those through your tutorials sections and practice guides.

Haha, indeed well if you could call it that its stubble with a soul patch, im one of those unlucky peeps who cannot grow a full beard because my face sucks lol =P

Not being able to grow a full beard isn't that bad, beats having had enough facial hair growth to grow a full beard since you were 16 Mad
