hey guys,ive been trying to get a new bass because ive needed one and i want to get a good one for metal...but im on a budget so it cant be too expensive...so far this is what ive come up with http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/bass_guitars/dean/metalman_2a_z/index.html any other ideas for amps or other guitars? afro

I'd recommend going to a local music shop and taking a look at loads of basses. You never know, one you might normally not give a second look at could fit you perfectly.

could try a epiphone thunderbird pro iv

its neck thru and active electronics
meant to be quite good
around £300 me thinks

Instead of picking up a new bass why not take a look at a pedal?
SFG posted a topic about one i'm looking into buying.

It'd be way cheaper then buying a new bass.

I've messed around with my sound loads. I found one setting on my amp that's actually too bassy, it distorts if I play anything on the E string Razz

Ive got the same thing, just gotta turn normal volume down and master up a bit though so its all good Very Happy
