Cant remember what it stands for, but its pretty much a monthy allowance you get if your parents earn under £28,000 per year or theyre divorced or something.

I think it's a UK-only thing, unless it's wearing a different skin in other countries. Do any other country's students get paid for going to further education?

Yep. Hell, I could (edit: and should) buy all of the premium lessons when it starts coming through and I get all the backpay I'm owed. Lovely lovely backpay... I should be getting around £200 Very Happy

Yeah, I don't really need EMA to be honest and welfare needs to concentrated on the people who need it. I'm certain I'm not the only one getting EMA who doesn't need it as well.
