Which amp?
I've been looking into buying a new amp for a while now, since my band is starting to gig and such and the one I have now just isn't enough.
I have narrowed the possibilities down to two and was hoping for a little help from you guys
Ashdown, MAG C115-300 EVO II Combo:
Fender, Rumble 350:
Also, if you have any recommendations, I'd appreciate them a lot.

Re: Which amp?
I swear I heard Ashdown has relability issues or they lie about their power ratings or something, or was that another company? I'd go with the Fender regardless, to be honest

Re: Which amp?
That's Behringer. Ashdown is a very reputable company.Pippynip wrote:I swear I heard Ashdown has relability issues or they lie about their power ratings or something
Both are good combos, I'd suggest you try them before buying and choose your favourite

Re: Which amp?
Yeah, that was it. See I could also clearly remember people singing Ashdown's praises so I got all confused

Re: Which amp?
yeah, that's the problem hehe, I've tried both out and I can't quite decide, although I must say I'm leaning a bit towards the Rumble...but, it's 34 kg!

Re: Which amp?
You could get some mountable wheels to put it on or something.

Re: Which amp?
It'd save money on a gym membership. If you ever want a workout just lug your amp up and down some stairs

Re: Which amp?
haha, thanks for the responses guys, but indeed, the rumble actually has wheels, so that will probably not be a problem.
Btw, I'm actually going from a Behringer which I'm not all to happy about, but ehh, I guess it's ok.

Re: Which amp?
ashdown is cool. Beware though you will need an extension cab to get the full power from the combo

Re: Which amp?
I personally recommend the Hartke vx 3500 combo. That beats the crap out of buying an extension for either of those two.
