Best Amp Under £300? Empty Best Amp Under £300?

Post  madden768 Mon Dec 20, 2010 6:27 pm

Hey,
I will be getting a bass for christmas but I am unsure what amp to go for. I'm looking for one that's under £300, if there is one that cost a bit more money I will be able but I'm generally aiming under that sum. Would there be any you would recommend here?

Thanks,

If you can't find an amp by then. Use your pc. Download GTR 3 and use a 1/4"-3.5mm adapter.

Yeah it is, I've heard the Roland Cubes are good and I know Orange amps are good for guitars, don't know about basses

Nope, I have a Peavey TNT 130. But yea I think if it's just a practice amp you shouldn't even consider spending anywhere close to £300. In my opinion it'd be better just to get some cheap small amp like this. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Peavey-MAX-126-Bass-Practice-Combo-104003462-i1145641.gc
