Re: New Bass
Well I got rid of the Fender, and brought a Musicman Ray 34, then I sold my Ibanez today and got a Fender Vic Baley Acoustic/electric bass.
And if I can I will load some pics

Re: New Bass
Quite a convo O.o
My bass teacher got a custom Sandberg with 5 strings. He prefers to play jazz...and the bass kind of peels the paint of walls
I agree with SFG on the 5-string thing. The reason I bought a 5-string was to avoid retuning and I can confirm that fretting an E on the added string sounds wicked! It keeps the clank you get from a fretted note.

Er, yes. Sex on toast, certainly. I had that this evening. Except it wasn't sex, it was beans.
Davo, what's the 'coostic Fender like? I've been thinking about getting one for a while. A leccy-'coostic. Is that one leccy-'coostic? Says so in the link up above, but not in its name.

Re: New Bass
The Fender is magic, it is electric acoustic, with eq, tuner, etc, she plays like a dream, I looked at a few but they were not the right colour, played alright but I would have been annoyed so I shelled out the extra cash$$$$$$$ to get the fender, the best thing is that the body is not too large, so its is very comfortable to play, I cannot wait to play it on stage, our first set is nicely suited to an acoustic set, rollon the 5th Jan!!!
