Drum beat... Empty Drum beat...

This is a drum beat I made for my daughter's boyfriend. I don't know if anybody here can use it but here is the link. If you do come up with a cool bass line for this I would like to hear it.

Ooo! I may try and put something to this as well if that's ok?

Would be cool to see what we all come up with. Very Happy

You guys are free to use these all you want. Here is another one that is a little bit more funky sounding.

Having fun with the metal one. There's a slightly weird timing thing that happens near the start, but it's no biggy and I got round it.

Got something down already. Want me to record and upload to youtube? Of course i'll say its just a bit of fun and is a beat that you created etc... Smile

I guess you are talking about that little weird thing in the first tom section?

Yea, I think so....

I can't get this to work. It wont record the beat as well, just the bass which is annoying. I'll try and figure it out!

Dammit....

Ok, i'll have a go tomorrow, man. I normally just use the beats in the pandora, but by using an mp3, I can't get it to work in Imovie at the same time. Im sure there's a way.

Can you use the AUX input jack on the Pandora to plug in an Ipod or something and play the beat through that?

However, my ipod is in my car which is currently being used by the missus.

I shall try later. Very Happy

I can't take any credit for the idea. I don't have a Pandora but I know Marlowe does so I checked his site and found out how he does it.

Make sure you've got it set to record your "stereo mix" if it isn't already.

I don't have a mac so i don't know what the interface is like. But is there a preferences or options button anywhere? If there is click it and you should have an option of chosing what sound input you want to record.

Ok, Marlowes pics are not relevent to me, coz I have a different Px to him. This one is USB.

I've tried everything. I got a new AUX lead today, just incase my other was broke.

I by-passed the USB by putting batteries in.

Tried everything in i-movie.

I'm stumped.

Don't use the USB connection to hook it to your computer.. Just hook the regular output plug that is next to the foot switch plug directly to your line in.
