Hey man!
Well, Disco comes from funk, so a lot of the funky stuff I teach can be made into disco type lines.
Can you give me an example of what you mean?

Re: suggestion for lessons
I'd think it'd be cool to have a lesson on jamming. Like how to use different techniques to come up with stuff on the fly... since I'm horrible at improv.

Couple of lesson suggestions
Can't Stop - Red Hot Chilli Peppers would be a good one for begginer - intermidiate slap.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZflBTTNjCsE
Brick House - The Commodores is really funky and easy (just the main riff).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir9hwrglzx4&feature=related
Sunshine of your Love - Cream is a classic that I think everyone should learn.
Mabye a lesson on making bass lines from a group of chords, e.g. techniques you use, root notes are too damn boring.

Hiya, ffox...
Ok, I have reservations about teaching people my own stuff, and i'll tell you why.
When I first started teaching, doing lessons on YT, a guy wanted me to teach him one of my HBM lines. I happily did, only to see him play the line as his own on his channel (not mentioning any names!). He didn't mention me, my band or anything. He played as his own.
I didn't think anyone would sink that low, but he did. I decided not to teach any of my own stuff to people after that.
However, the more I gain your guys trust through forums like this, and knowing you online, i'm more inclined to trust you all a little more. It maybe a case that I do "special" lessons for people that I trust.

Re: suggestion for lessons
Thats a fair point man, someone did that to me with an artical i wrote for a pagan mag, i gave it to him to proof read it and the following week he published it in his own online mag. some people suck.

Before I get started, I did not make the video.
If you just want to learn the verse, here is the link and tab:
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1x5CySGBEw
Use Slap and Pop
G------7---9----------7---9------------------7---9-----------7---9-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
D------------------------------------------------------------------------------------9---9-----------9---9----------------10---10----------10--10
A---7----------7---7-----------7---7----5------------5---5-----------5---5----------------------------------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------------------------------------7-----------7---7------------7---7-/-8--------------8---8-------
That slide I chucked in isnt in the video but, it sounds good if you do it right.
If you wanted to learn the whole song, ask me and I'll do a simple tab for it, cause Flea changes the bass every concert so tabs all round the internet are different.

This guy has a pretty good can't stop video lesson, if you can't catch it by ear, he helped me out when I first picked up my bass
