I like Anime. But I consider myself a connoisseur of sorts, I have distinct tastes and I am only a big fan of one or two. That disclaimer out of the way, I was watching Samurai Champloo the other night and remarked at (what I think is) the bassline in the end credits song titled "Shiki No Uta". A very oriental and interesting rhythm paired with an equally pleasing but simple guitar riff. I was wondering if anyone here would like to maybe help me tab this out? I've been trying by ear and I wanna see what you kids come up with, or if you even like the song at all.

Yea, well Scenes are over rated anyways! I think i've got part of it tabbed though I might post it if I can figure out how. Anyone else coming up with anything, inspired?

I have a friend at school who's good at tabbing by ear.
He plays quite a few Japanese songs so he might know this one, or be able to figure it out.

I watch quite abit of anime, but i'm not that type of person who walks around thinking i should have been born in Japan, they get on my nerves.
If you want you should try taking a look for BECK and K-on, both are music based.

I watch anime now and again.. I do enjoy it and the music is always awesome... I have a few mates that are well over the obessed line though.

Somewhere it has this mellow jazzy feel to it.

I like it, it's rhytmic and has me snapping my fingers along with it.
As for tabbing though, i'm afraid i've been out of the run for to long.
I'll first need to find all the notes on the fretboard again.

But i'll give it a go later on.

I just thought it was a very well...composed song and that everyone might enjoy giving it a go, no rush though. Hell if I could get just the first riff I'd be in alot better shape than I am now.
