Rise Against Basslines
Are suprisingly good!
Quite a few songs have chords too.
When he plays alot of his stuff that isnt the drop notes [which is thought to be all he does!] he plays high up on the D string, usually between the 7th and 14th fret, so on first listen you think its the guitar. And thats his way of 'Not foreshadowing the guitar'
Songs like Blood to Bleed and Like the Angel - Both intros are bass only.

Nice find Drakon, I've never really listened to them. it's a good reference for one song I'm working on though - almost all of their songs are,
