errr... HELP!
I have a squier bass, and one of the chrome k>nobs has become loose and falls off > so err help.
BTW if i put it back on it still works just I have to lean back.

How are they connected? If it just fits over a little screw type thing that you can still turn by hand, just super glue them back on (make sure they're oriented the right way.)

I don't want to superglue in case I need it taken off to get the the scratch plate, because I'm thinking of getting it refinished to mend the dents and repaint it.

ya i have the same thing one one of mine you should be able to just add some glue and pop it back on

If you don't want to super glue it, come up with some alternative, temporary method.. because I can't think of one off hand that would be anywhere near practical.

have u heard of the amazing invention known only as BLU-TAK????????????
blu tak solves everythin
anywasy
take a small piece of blu tak and stick on the end of the stick that sticks out the scratch plate.
put ur tuning knob back on and see if that works
or gaffa tape it but that would look MESSY

tack would work. If it doesn't try wrapping the post a couple times with teflon tape.

BTW any1 who wants to try this grab a pair of bottle nose pliers in case you over do it. I got a little panicky when I did.
