Removed old pickups, got a routing template made (a guy at an engineering place owed me a favour Very Happy ) routed out the pickup cavites so that the Musicman style pickups could fit, rewired and added the switches for series/parallel/single coil modes.

You can get a million different tones out of this thing - its still passive BTW

Not really as notable or important. Plus you have to take the strings off anyway to mess with the pickups, makes sense to re-string it really.

Finally got round to plugging this baby into an amplifier yesterday (Carlsbro Viper Bass 100). The range of tones is amazing, I lke the fast attack you get from the Musicman style pickups, this is quickly becoming my favorite bass.
