Perth is a great place don't get me wrong, but it can be a drag getting all these bands touring Australia and then leaving out Perth (and tassie). Also cos I'm not yet 18 it's difficult to see (non local) live bands perform as they all play in 18+ venues.
On the subject of Pi i once had a friend who knew it to 250 places off the top of his head.
