That's pretty cool, I only know that "Ringo" means "Apple" in Japanese.

I only know a few words like: kon'nichiwa (hello), ohayō (good morning), Konbanwa (good evening), sayōnara (bye), kawaii (cute), urusai (shut up), arigatō (thanks), and some more words.

I remember in primary school when we had a substitute teacher who lived in Japan during his childhood (but was English) who taught us how to count to 5 in Japanese... I only remember how to go up to 4 Razz

Ichi, Ni, San, Shi (if it didn't rhyme I'd have forgotten them all Razz

), go, roku, nana/shichi, hachi, kyuu, jyuu, jyuuichi, jyuuni, jyuusan, jyuuyon/jyuushi (that's fourteen, which is the unlucky number in Japan), jyuugo, jyuuroku, jyuunana/jyuushichi, jyuuhachi, jyuukyuuu, nijyuu, nijyuuichi...
I can go over 1 000 000 AND I know how to write these things. I am a massive egomaniac.

Also, you can remember 'go' by going: ichi, ni, san, shi (as in a 4/4 beat), GO!

Ok, my names aidan, and i just joined this forum because dman told me to find out more about the bass and perhaps learn a few licks, and perhaps it can help me with my drum playing. I'm a drummer by heart but i'd say the bass interests me most next to my main instrument. So hey! Smile

Building roughly the same thing (same wood and all) is along the same lines of a music man, depending on where you order from and/or if you can assemble pieces yourself.
