While my beard isnt wildman like DTLs, mine is pretty cool, Im doing the whole designer stubble thing.

"My First Stubble", as one of my more opinionated friends calls it.

I was growing a beard, but my hair went into my head, grabbed it and pulled it out of the top of my head, so now I have messy hair instead.

Hi everyone, been gone for like forever. Sorry about that. Not sure if you remember, but early this year I broke my shoulder and I was unable to play bass (or type) for the longest time.

In the same period I moved to a new home, from the ghetto to a nice and friendly neighborhood.

Since three months I've started with bass and drums again.

I also joined a musicschool, a bigband as a drummer and a jazz ensemble as a bass player. With the jazz ensemble we have two songs we work through and that's MellowMood and So what, from Miles Davis. I had to learn the bass line in little over two weeks and I'm not that fast (or good), but I survived our sessions together heh. 29th of Januari we'll perform on stage. So I get to perform twice on that day, one time as a drummer for the bigband, and one time as a bass player for the jazz ensemble.

I also am in the process of changing jobs and to succeed I have to go back to school 2 days a week and work as an intern (sp?) 3 days a week.

In short, I'm back

Thanks, yeah so what is awesome. I'm a big fan of Miles Davis. I was thrilled when his "Kind of Blue" came on CD.
It's also the first time that I was asked to play solo - so they witnessed my solo debute However, now that I did they want me to do it more often EEK! So I need to brush up on my scales.

I am Ron, from The Netherlands.

Been playing (or messing, if you will) around with my bassguitar for a few weeks now.
From the many instruments I have in my room I always feel tempted to grab it since it is the most challenging instrument I have right now.
I still suck though, but I can play basic things.. as long as I don't have to swich snares too much or.. do fancy popping and slapping. Haha.

I'm back!!

Hi everyone, I'm back, I think. I might not be as active as before but I'm back

Basically I've been developing a website with some guys. It's a Formula 1 prediction game where you basically predict which drivers come in certain positions in the qualifying and race for a race weekend. It's got an in depth scoring system, leagues, some more stuff (which I've forgotten), and you can win a PS3 at the end of the year. It's continually being updated (daily at the moment ) too. The site basically sucked up a lot of my time and I didn't have time to/couldn't be bothered to play bass or come here. Now that the site's finally released the pressure is off!

Went to site and didn't understand it. Registered and then understood that there's no way that site could be of any use to me. I guessed anyways though.
