Re: FORUM MULTIBASS COLLAB!!
I'll have some stuff up sometime this week. June appears to be a pretty unfortunate month health-wise for me, I just got all that hayfever stuff sorted out with loads of nasal sprays and eye drops and tablets and stuff and I get struck down by actual man flu. When that's cleared up, FULL STEAM AHEAD.

Re: FORUM MULTIBASS COLLAB!!
I just left the 9th grade with a 6 (perfect) in Music and a live performance of Billie Jean (by MJ). It's now summer holiday and BAAAD weather, so I'll spend a lot of time with my bass now. Like, A LOT. Time to get this project going. Nao.

Re: FORUM MULTIBASS COLLAB!!
I have done much experimenting today. Turns out the line-in on my laptop no longer works for some bizarre reason. The laptop is about six years old though, most everything is falling off or falling apart (plus, it's been in my possession for three of those six years). Luckily my sister's PC downstairs has a fully functioning line-in and I've tested it and it all works. 'Course, that limits the time I can record stuff a bit, but whatever. It's not like I have been or will be spending every waking moment recording, far from it...
also congrats on the perfect, SFG

Thanks, man!
I've been experimenting a bit myself, so I might put up some more riffs soon.
Also, tab for the riff I posted here, in case anyone wants it:

Listen to the recording (on the wave/a few pages back) for timing.

Re: FORUM MULTIBASS COLLAB!!
Can we get any word on the statuses of the groups?
Funge has started a wave. How far are you in the writing process?
Jazz?
Psychedelic has some ideas, it seems. Same question as for funge.
Is everyone on your team doing his/her part?

I don't have access to the Funge wave, but is there anything happening over there? What about the others? Have you even started?

Re: FORUM MULTIBASS COLLAB!!
Right... I've been fairly busy running about sorting out my immediate future 'cause I'm not going back to school in September. I've been spending all my spare time either up here on my laptop or downstairs on my PS3, I just cannot be arsed to carry my bass, my amp, my headphones and various cables downstairs (awkward due to a very inquisitive german shepherd), plug it all into my sister's computer (very awkward, it's in a corner almost touching the wall and there's a desk on the other side so everything has to be moved) and record maybe two or three lines then disconnecting it all and carrying it all back upstairs.
Not only that, but I'll be getting a new bass on the 14th, either a 5-string or simply a higher quality 4-string so it may not be worth me recording anything yet if my recordings are likely to be better in just 9 days. I has two plans, which is ideal?
1. Wait until after the 14th before doing anything.
2. On Wednesday (tomorrow is busy busy time), record what I have just to put it on the table so improvements can be made (or my lines discarded entirely ) ready for the serious recording at least a week later.
Methinks 2 is ideal... the only question is whether I'll actually be bothered to do it
