I do it only b/c I have no options left. I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. Just don't turn it up and turn the bass down more.

turn the bass part down, and watch it, high risk of blowing your speaker.

i have used guitar amp for over a year...now(few weeks ago) i got my 65W Laney RB3

I've been using a guitar amp for about a month now with no problems. I just don't turn it up past 5 or 6

I had a guitar amp for a while. Just keep the volume fairly low and don't put the bass up very high. You can blow out your speaker fairly easy if you're not careful. I did it to my brother's amp and then became more careful.

I also use guitar amp at home but not its speaker cause i dont wat to take any risks that it would break.
So bass -> amp -> pc -> stereo.
