hello guys
as i might asked before about tuning
the standard tuning is EADG right?
now my problem is: i don't have any luxery tuning device, and my ears aren't that good (yet/anymore)
an alot of songs i want to play are like in drop d of e flat
is there a way to tune a bass with the help of te fretboard?
like pressing the second fret from the e string to get a F of a D or something Embarassed
please help me, it is 1 of the things i really like to learn XD

To tune drop D take 7th fret from your E string and then tune so it matches with your open A string.

Just like when you get A from your 5th fret on E string so now just move your finger to 7th fret and loosen that E string until you get same sound vibration from 7th fret than you open A.
