using a guitar multi-effect on bass?

i want to to if its okay to use a guitar multi-effect for my bass ? ive looked up online in a bunch of places and thers always a different answer. i was hoping someone can help me on this. its a digitech rp90.

thers no real problem with it. Just the fact you wont get any low end as the pedal is designed for guitar
