The bass songs to learn suggestions thread.

Ok so I had this idea,we should start a thread where we would be putting songs for people to learn according to difficulty.We could also provide the required links for the tabs of songs an' stuff.If this works out it could make the forum gain some life,we could even have dman posting it on his site for guys searching for songs,we could even use it for us.What do you think?I've thought about some ways of organizing the songs and making them be in the right place,just tell me if you agree/disagree.

I wasn't sure what you meant at first, but that sounds like an excellent idea.

Yeah, except that bit. I just meant the very first note, like in this case C. Specifying which tuning it's in is a good idea though

I do generally find it more difficult to learn metal songs by ear for some reason. I mostly listen to reggae... bass is easy to hear so it's really easy to learn those songs by ear

Though you should learn to learn songs by ear. That's what made the musicians of the last century so good and the musicians of this century (so far) a bit lacklustre on the whole. 'Course I'm not saying there aren't great musicians in this generation; what I am saying is that the great musicians of this generation are the ones who use their ears.

i can do it by ear thought, songs with loud bass. (as i m a bit deaf..)
but i m a bit to lazy aswell XD
