The interview with section is looking a little thin. So maybe Fill it out with users from this forum. It's probably nothing we have not said on this forum already just in one post?

If we get Smaz', Dman's, or Admin's (ze strange one) approval it could be YOU!!

I've always wanted to be interviewed

Now a less imposing post: It would be really great to hear everyones views on playing and such. I think it's a great idea, because many players (be they beginners or experts) have a lot to say. Too bad the world doesn't care about us amateurs, even if most of us have a lot of good stuff to say

I think it's a pretty good idea to interview some people on here, i'm happy to lend my services if they are needed/be interviewed.
I'm guessing it would be done over skype or something much like that.

You know what, I actually mentioned this to Dman months ago (infact, not long after the forum started) with this exact idea. We thought it would be great, but didn't decide on how we'd go about it, and left it at that...

I'll give the idea a kick up the backside... Stay tuned

This. Except my "career" is about 5 weeks...

someone could come up with a template of questions then people just fill them in. Just you need to think out each answer and answer any questions like you may have created for your self.


e.g. (simple example, im not saying anyone is this thick)

dont:

I bought my bass and have now started to really like it.

Do:

I bought my bass back in may, off the internet. I like it because you can pull off some really iconic riffs.

Hm, but it might be a bit impersonal that way... I'd like it if it was more a proper interview with someone rather than a form that you have to fill in if you see what I mean. Could do one user a week and maybe one of the mods or some nominated official interviewer guy or whoever conducts the interview via MSN or chatbox and posts it afterwards

Maybe as well as interviewing people on the forum, we could also interveiw people on youtube who are like, epic good.

Im sure heaps of us know a video or two that have wow'd us.

EDIT: Also, Id be glad to interview people weekly. =]

I think audio is the way to go, then a transcription can be made of that if people don't like audio or have no/little bandwidth.
Again I'm happy to interview people it's not like i've got anything better to do now that i've graduated
If i can be of any help in any way then just let me know.
