new e string trouble

so like i got some new strings and was puting them on and stuff and i got to the e string and found it didnt go in, i could pull it all the way through but when i got the the end it wouldnt fit the bit with the coton?? like it was to fat for the hole (thats what she said) do i need to buy another e string or can i fix it???

sorry for the joke i had to say it cos i knew someone esle would, more then likely drakon lol

It shouldn't..
It's just cotton wrap on the end for extra grip, works fine without it though.

still dosnt fit, im just gana have to buy another string =(

you could try drilling the hole in the bridge a bit wider - if i am understanding your description of the problem
