recording

hey guys, i dont know if there is a topic about this.
but anyway i was gonna ask:

i want to record my first cover for youtube, when i get my new amp (pretty soon i hope)
but how do i record? just with a regular camera?
or is there special stuff for it...

not looking for something expensive. just for some tips and tricks ^^

You can use a normal camera, Ive done that and the quality of my covers were pretty decent. You can connect your bass to your computer and record directly into it which would give better sound quality.

i also had trouble with this, i wanted to make a video of me playing a song along to my Mp3 and then mix the video with the audio file of the song, for better sound quality for both the bass and song. But i cant download windows movie maker or anything that, i always run into some problem. Help?
