PC vs Bass
Sorry for creating a new topic for this but I could not find it anywhere... You all guys recorded some very nice video, congrat on them. (jam with D'Man) My question is the following: how do you link the bass to your PC? Do you have a special stuff for that and software for mixing or how? Who uses what? I really have no idea, I think it's not just simple lead to sound card, is it?
Thank you in advance.

Re: PC vs Bass
Theres a million different ways of doing it..
I use just a cable going from my amp's headphone socket to the line in socket on my sound card and record it using Ulead VideoStudio.
It's not perfect, or great by any standard, but it gets the job done.
Dman uses his pandora multi effects jiggy that had a USB out on it that goes to his computer.
The cheapest way is to just get a cable using my method, which would cost about $20.
You can also try a USB interface which would provide better quality, although i dont know by how much, for around $80.

I use this. It comes with cubase LE which is stripped down version of the professional version but still does what you need.
