Slap n' Pop EQ? Empty Slap n' Pop EQ?

Post  Protoplm Sun Jun 28, 2009 8:45 pm

Hey, does anyone have any tips for setting up a good tone for slap and pop? No matter what I do with my bass it just does not have a good sound.

I'm using a passive pickup with just a tone knob and an amp that has only the typical 4 knobs for eq (Low, Low mid etc), so I don't expect to get something that sounds good per-say.. just something that doesn't sound bad.

less bass more low mids and high. You don't want all your low end gone but you don't want it to sound muddy either. Happy Slappy.
