Ive learnt hysteria, not too hard once u get the hang of it, took me a few hours to learn and ive only been playing for three months

I think we should suggest one week, vote another, and play on the third.

example of what I mean though

Week 1 - Play song 1, vote on song 2, suggest song 3
Week 2 - Play song 2, Cote on song 3, suggest song 4
Week 3 - Play song 3, Vote on song 4, suggest song 5

et cetera.

everything will be in rotation and all after week 3. Until then, just for the first 2 weeks, smaz can chooose them, maybs.

Smaz can overlook the suggestion thread, which could be cleaned up every week, even, [by that, I mean delete it or lock it and make another one, maybe]
and then he can choose the 5 to vote on. is there a way to put the poll on the front page or something? maybe sticky it, I dunno, Im just throwing out ideas.

But just overall, how many people actually have video cameras or webcams to do this?

I don't personally, would like to get one. From what's been posted on this forum, seems like 4 or 5 people have cameras.

More people probably have cameras then they say they do. Cameras are cheap and pretty commonplace these days, so if you dont have one, most likely someone in your house does for you to borrow for a 4 minute video.

Theres a webcam built into my dads laptop, but I have no idea how to get it to record stuff, tried before when i was trying to do a cover of runaway by jamiroquai, couldnt see any recording icon but i could try again

I've always looked at metal as one of those things you grow out of, it's far too serious sounding for me these days

You grow out of some subgenre's and grow into others.

There was a day that I used to listen to things like Spineshank, Linkin Park, as well as Iron Maiden, Motley Crue etc and bands like Atreyu and Bullet for My Valentine were 'too heavy' for my tastes. Nowadays I like more mature music, things like Between the Buried and Me, Scale the Summit and such

Metal is probably the broadest genre, You dont grow out of it, just grow out of subgenres.

Less so grow, more.. evolve.. Slowly

I used to like Black metal and a bit of Thrash metal,
Burzum
Satyricon
Mayhem
Venom
Cradle of filth
Celtic Frost etc

If I'm in the mood for metal now I go for Reuben or Machine Head, I listen to Hair Metal these days it's more fun haha more often than not I'm a blues, funk or swing guy though

I'm not even sure it's metal I want to hear haha, I used to like it when I was about 12-16, It just sounds to showy for me now. Sure I get in the mood for it now and then and I'll stick on some speed metal. But 90% either sounds like they're too angry or they're just showing off how quickly they can play But if you know any good bands feel free to list them... good music is good music - so long as it's not hardcore or death metal I'm open to it.
