SOTW#3: RATM - Bombtrack!

Ill try! But that intro might still be a bit much for me. Timing wise, I still kinda struggle to play along to the mp3. =[

Can anyone recommend a decent form of input for my bass/pc I don't want to record using my cam because it's made of fail.

Cams usually the best choice. But you never know the quality until you upload it!

dos not seem to hard , ill work on it early tomorrow
but yeah like he said, the intros a little shaky for me to, but eh, if i can pull off sleep, melody. ill get this one down much faster.

the bass is awesome
i would totally recomend the ibanez srx line over sr line.
mainly cause it has pickups where u can rest ur thumb on XD
now that i have finally worked out how to record my sound properly i will do the other sotw songs as well

My cover is on it's way by the way! Just converting it, will upload it whilst I nip to the pub for an hour. It's not perfect, but I'm slightly hungover & tired...

first things first
has your amp got a line out?
has your sound card got a microphon in?
have you got a minijack-minijack cable?
have u got a minijack to jack adabter?

if the answer to all those questions is yes,
then plug ur amps line out, into ur sound cards mic in
then dowload reaper at this site http://www.cockos.com/reaper/download.php
it will tell you that u have a 10 day evaluation period.
ignore that because ive had mine for about a year now and it still work perfectly fine
then record your sound using that programm.
just drag the mp3 file of the song u were playing along to into another track on reaper.
syncronise it, mix it and convert it to aiff file.
thats ur sound done XD


u can also video yourself playing and then mix the recorded audio with the recorded video in windows movie maker.
make sure the audio is in AIFF format tho otherwise it dont work
