mine would also be creep by radiohead. again because it was the first one on dman's list! although some years ago i learned the intro to "one" by metallica on guitar. and various other intros but i assume they dont really count.

I was mucking about on the fretboard finding notes, the second time I had picked up a bass. It all became clear... The first few bars jumped out at me.

Then I played along with it on the ipod a few times, and while I wasn't perfect, I was hooked!
