Our name "ZVIZ" doesn't really mean anything. It's an expression, loosely translated as "WHACK" or "TWHACK" or any sound you would make when you wanna smack someone on the head.

I just realized that the lyrics are in Serbian so you can't really understand what the songs are about...
That might be a good thing though, because they're kind of wussy XD

Ah that wouldn't bother me, music is music no matter what the language of the lyrics.

Second one is about confessing/protecting the one you love and the first one is about a forgotten memory/emotion.

We're going for a heavier sound though. Our guitar player was still under the influence of his previous band, which was mostly pop. I told him that he can go wild in this one. Yesterday, he did... It was brutal (in a good sense)

A while ago I posted the first three demos the band.
Well, now we have a new one (3 actually, but I can't upload two of them because we're saving them for a festival and they musn't be posted online...yet).
With a much heavier sound, thanks to a bit overdrive on my part, and much better quality (same equipment as before - next to nothing - but with more mixing prowess on my part )

I'd also like to take this time to boast a bit - I got that level of quality with almost no proper mixing apparel. The drums we're recorded over a standard computer mic, the bass and guitar we're directly plugged into an on-board sound card and only the vocals we're recorded better via a Shure mic. I'm quite proud of that fact

ADDITION: In case anyone is wondering what they're listening to, the name of the song directly translates as "Ungrateful". It's about all those people whom life has graced with success, luxury, fulfilled desiers that others only dream of, but who don't know how to appreciate it and still complain about hardship.

This music is awesome. Non-american independent bands seem to be way better than any american ones I've seen.

Actually that's sort of true...
If you look at the history or rock and metal - it's roots are in Britain (except for the darker stuff, that's Scandinavian)

Well, we didn't qualify for the festival, sadly...
At least now we can post the two songs online, so we have our top two songs up!
